The North Monroe Business District is a volunteer organization that aims to promote and advocate for the businesses that make up the corridor. By working to build a sense of identity around the district, we hope to bolster our engaged consumer base and encourage support from the Spokane community now and into the future. That invitation has become Meet on Monroe.

We facilitate annual events to draw patronage, operate social media, newsletter, and focused advertising that promotes North Monroe as a destination. Member dues of $100/year support those efforts. We hold board meetings the second Tuesday of each month and an annual member meeting in October. Email for details on our meetings.

Thank you for supporting the strengthening of our district!

To create an identity around and foster a thriving business district on North Monroe that excites the residents of Spokane, unites our voice within the City, and promotes the growth of our business members.

Our intent as the North Monroe Business District is to continue the original work that began over a decade ago to create a thriving business district at the heart of the Emerson-Garfield neighborhood.
